Obituary for John Will Burston

Boston- John Will Burston, 69, passed away Thursday, July 2nd, 2020, at Mass General Hospital. John was born in Shelma, Georgia, on February 12th, 1951, to his parents Earlest Burston and Leila B. (Wiggins) Burston. John was predeceased by his parents, Four Brothers: Willie Fred, Curley B., Malcolm and John Lee Burston, Four Sisters: Essie Burston, Ethel L. Burston, Margaret Whitney and Gloria Simmonds. John was very much loved and he will be missed. John really enjoyed boxing, dominoes,and basketball. He served in the US Army as a PVT E-1 for many years. John leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter: Shauntá Burston, Three Brothers: Nathaniel and Wilfred Burston from Springfield, Massachusetts, and Kelly Burston of Tampa, Florida, Three Sisters: Minnie Housey, Geraldine and Marjorie Burston, all from Springfield, Massachusetts, and a host of family and friends. Calling Hours will be on Monday, July 20th, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts 01109, followed by a burial in Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, Massachusetts 01101.
