Springfield - Maria Isabel Muniz, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 1st, 2020. Maria was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, on August 20th, 1938, to her parents Miguel Muniz and Confesora Muniz. Maria was predeceased by her parents. Maria was very much loved and she will be missed. Maria leaves to cherish her memories, her son: Leroy Matthews, her daughter: Jasmine Bosworth, Five Grandchildren: Janine Warren, Corey Cirino, Leroy Matthews, Jr., Jacob Matthews and Mason Matthews, Two Great Grandchildren: Jordan and Jayden Warren, Two Brothers: Luis and Manuel Muniz, Seven Sisters: Ana Gonzalez, Leonor Chacon, Aida Hines, Natividad Muniz, Carmine Muniz, Eva Muniz and Norma Muniz, and a host of family and friends. Calling Hours will be on Friday, July 10th, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts 01109. Burial will be in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.
